Only 7 more days until Erik and I take off for Germany! We’ll spend five days in the Cologne area before heading to Northern Ireland for six days. We’re looking forward to playing music together just about every day we’re abroad! This is the first of three overseas ministry trips scheduled this year.
There are so many ways to support us but the greatest way would be to keep us in your prayers every day. We felt lifted so many times when we were ready to drop on our last journey and we know it was because many of you were praying for our safety, health, and for Jesus to give us strength. I especially ask your prayers for the gospel to be clearly communicated through us and through the main speaker, Tony Anthony. Pray for God to open our eyes to understand him in a deeper way so that we can share his love.
Salvation is a person. It is not a theology or a creed and it cannot be obtained through religious activity. Salvation comes to those who choose to see the truth that is all around us: the Creator of the universe who gave us breath wants to enable us to live the lives we were intended to live. Eternal life begins the moment we open our hearts to life and peace (Christ).
This is the message the world needs to hear (and I need to hear). God is love. He is light. He is life. And He is able to save us from destroying ourselves (and each other) in the darkness.
