You do not need human affirmation or validation to continue doing the work God has called you to do. It is God you are serving, not man. If someone doesn’t recognize the work God is doing in or through your life, what does it matter? Maybe you are not needed or have been called to serve elsewhere.
There’s a difference between seeking counsel and making someone’s opinion into an idol. Seek counsel and wisdom but let God be your master and his presence be your confidence. Don’t let insecurities dictate or hinder your movements.
The work God calls us to is eternal and sometimes even invisible.
Be obedient, stay dependent, look up, not around. Don’t compare yourself or judge others. Rest in the will of your master. Your life is a small part of a bigger plan.
