Snack & Mini Meal Ideas

-Ezekiel Bread (or English Muffins) toasted with peanut butter or almond butter.

-Fage Yogurt with mixed berries or bananas. A friend of mine puts a dash of vanilla or almond extract in hers. It’s pretty good.

Tip to making Fage yogurt like ice cream:

Put the whole container in the freezer for a few hours/overnight (depending on the temperature of your freezer). Let it freeze almost solid. Pull it out, put it in the fridge, let it start to thaw out just a touch. When you’re hungry for something cold/icey/ice creamy, scoop out some of the frozen yogurt. It’s amazing. You can probably top it with berries or honey to sweeten it up.

-Trader Joe’s Individual serving bags of popcorn. Ahhhmazing. I usually end up eating two of them. 😉

-Whole Foods Brand Light Popped Corn. Tastes like movie theater popcorn, sort of. Only not as buttery. Again, ahhhmazzzing.

-Snyder’s Pretzels with a side of natural peanut butter.

-Kashi Snack Crackers

-Barbara’s Crunchy Peanut Butter Granola Bars

-Kashi Crunch Almond or Pumpkin Spice Granola Bars

-A toasted Ezekiel English Muffins with natural peanut butter/almond butter is an amazing snack. Ezekiel 4:9 English muffins have a different texture than regular English muffins; they are heartier and stick with you much longer. If you want to sweeten it up, consider adding a bit of honey, too. My husband likes these, believe it or not! He often requests jelly instead of honey, though.
