Make His Praise… GLORIOUS

“Make His praise glorious.” Ps 66:2

This verse really “stuck out” to me today. We are to make God’s praise glorious. The fruit of our lips and our lives should draw attention to the radiance of God. He LIVES in us. He is the “mystery” to the nations—the God who does amazing things in our hearts and in our lives.

“Come and hear, all who fear God, and I will tell of what He has done for my soul.” Ps 66:16

That is the essence of corporate worship: declaring the faithfulness of God and praising Him for everything He has done for and in us. This should also be the essence of our lives. Wherever we are, whatever we are doing should say, “Come and hear what God has done!” This is why we live and breathe. And it’s not difficult or even unnatural. After all, we’ve been “born again”—it’s woven into our “new” nature to honor our Creator.

“Your name, even Your memory, is the desire of our souls.” Is 26:8

Father, may we allow Your nature to rule in us and to make us ambassadors for You.
