Nothing is Too Hard For Him…

To those who have been walking with the Lord for decades… to those who are weary of life’s heartaches and feel like they just can’t/don’t want to go on….

Don’t forget that he still hears you, he still sees you, and he’s still alive in you, regardless of how you feel. He has not abandoned you. Remember, he is “near to the brokenhearted.” “He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” There is “nothing that is too hard for him” — no, not even your heart is too hard.

The same God who saved you in the past is ready to save you now.

He may seem long in coming to you but remember: he is near and he is faithful…always… even when we feel utterly faithless.

Our salvation comes from him. His mercy is “new every morning.”

“The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.” Lamentations 3:25

A song I wrote many years ago came to mind this evening…

“This darkness is not for you to feel this way
This silence is not for you to be dismayed
I see you crying heavy tears upon your bed
I know you’re hurting and need a place to rest

I want to hold you, dry your tears
I know you’re weary
Child, I’m here

Child, I know you feel alone
Child, in me you’ll find your home
Child, I know the pain you feel
Child, in me you’ll rest, you’ll heal

I will come to you
I will rescue you
From the darkness in your soul
I will run to you
I will take complete control

I know you’re weary, I know you’re tired
I know you’re wishing this could end right here and now
I know you’re selfish, I know you’re proud
I know you’re longing for a touch from me right now…

Will you seek me more?
Will you seek me more?

I will come to you
I will rescue you from this darkness in your soul
I will speak to you
I will take complete control…”

Keep seeking and serving…

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

“But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.” Hebrews 10:39
